Description
liquid waterproofing membrane for flat roofs. It has excellent mechanical, chemical, thermal, UV and weather resistance properties, as it is based on pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resins. Excellent bonding to various substrates like concrete, cement mortars and most waterproofing layers.
Method of Application
Remove the dust, oil, grees, fungus etc. from the surface by using wire brush/ scrubbing. Using a brush apply with any SBR Latex or Cementitious substance evenly on the cleaned surface. Leave the surface to dry. When the primer dried, fill all the cracks above 1mm with any crack filling substance. Evenly apply a first coat of Bluemax PU FLEX 500 on the primer with a brush. After drying the first coat apply a second coat and so on for 3 times.
Coverage: Coverage depends upon the nature of the surface to be applied. But on average, smooth surface 3 coats of 15-20 sqft areas with 1 Litre Bluemax PU Flex 500. Total three coats recommended.
